When you create an account, we collect information provided through Google OAuth authentication, including your email address and display name. We do not store your Google password.
Resume Data
If you choose to upload your resume, we collect and parse the document to extract information such as work experience, education, skills, and contact details. This data is used to personalize your job search experience and provide AI-powered recommendations.
Job Search Activity
We collect information about your job applications, interviews, networking contacts, and career plan progress. This includes company names, job titles, application dates, interview schedules, and notes you add.
Financial Runway Data (Optional)
If you choose to use our financial runway calculator, you may provide information about savings, severance, and monthly expenses. This data is entirely optional and used solely to help you plan your job search timeline.
How We Use Your Information

Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure that you can only access your own data. Resume files are stored with encrypted file storage and accessed via time-limited signed URLs.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is never used to train AI models outside of your personal account context.
Your Rights
Access & Portability
You have the right to access all personal data we hold about you. You can download your data at any time through your account settings.
Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion, all your personal information, resumes, applications, and career plans will be permanently removed from our systems.
Rectification
You can update or correct your personal information through your profile settings at any time.
GDPR Rights (EU Users)
